Transfer of distance is subject to availability. If a distance is sold out there will be no transfers available to that distance. Prior to 4pm, Saturday 3 April 2027 you can transfer up or down a distance online by logging into your Active account and selecting Change category. There is no transfer fee, but you must pay the difference in entry fee (at that time) if you go up in distance.

Transfers to another person must be within the same distance. There is a $20 transfer fee. Prior to 4pm, Saturday 3 April, transfers to another person can be done online by going to your Active account and selecting Transfer registration. Steps to Transfer to Another Person Log in to your Active account and access My EventsIn Hobart Marathon Festival and click Transfer RegistrationComplete the required information and SubmitThe new participant will receive an email inviting them to enter and pay the registration fee*Your registration will be cancelled, and you will be refunded the entry fee less a $20 transfer fee. * Please note the new participant enters and pays for their entry before your credit is processed and pays the current registration fee (not your original amount). Due to recent reports of online scams, we strongly advise against purchasing entries from others via social media or resale platforms.

Unfortunately, we are not able to transfer entries to a different event.

Where eligible, the following refund fees are applicable for cancellations, depending on when the request is received.·       Refund of 50% up to 4pm Monday 15 February 2027·       No Refunds after 4pm Monday 15 February 2027Refunds are not available to athletes who have been transferred into this event. Entries can be transferred to another person as per the above transfer policy.
