RUNNING FOR CHANGE

We’re proud to support the Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF), a health promotion charity creating Indigenous leaders across Australia through running and physical literacy since 2010.Founded by former world marathon champion Robert de Castella AO MBE, the IMF addresses the health gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. Their work creates a ripple effect of change, from remote communities to the start line of the world's biggest marathons.

The Indigenous

Each year, 12 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people aged 18–30 are selected to train for the TCS New York City Marathon. They return to their communities as agents of change ,healthier, stronger and equipped to lead.

Communities for Activity and Nutrition (I-CAN)

3

Running and Walking
(IMF RAW)

IMF RAW normalises running and walking within Indigenous communities, providing a free, inclusive and safe environment for individuals to flourish and feel supported in, tackling chronic disease one step at a time.

Communities for Activity and Nutrition (I-CAN)
